Drop rates for gear.

I was farming hair dryers earlier, needed 10 more, got a refresh, picked up 5. Ended up buying 3 more refreshes to get the last 5. Yep I'll put on my tin foil hat, the drop rate definitely seems to lower the closer you get.

I've not actually studied this, but I feel that gear has about a 20% drop rate. Seems if I sim 5 battles, I tend to average around one per sim. It really sucks when you're farming those purple/gold pieces that take 10 energy per attempt. You basically get 2 shots per crystal refresh.

Yeah can confirm this.. farm hair dryer 10 energy, average is 2 shot per refill. Sometimes i got just 1.. sometimes 3 per refill, but it's very rare tho :(

Ok, please someone from EA explain this. This is the worst ive seen. Im farming MK 5 A/KT stun gun prototype and i refreashed my energy 2 times. So 100 crystals, i had 384 energy to farm with and used 38 sims, i got 2, only 2 pieces of the gear i was farming. That is a .005% chance. I know its all about making money, and after thinking about it, i cant believe it but ive spent probably close to $200 on this game with buying packs and crystals. And ive even been playing this game since day one. The return on this game is ridiculous. Im all about supporting EA because i have a friend that works there but i feel like the return from EA is pushed under the rug. What ever it takes to make more money is all im feeling from EA right now...
