Don't be so paranoid... Just keep playing as you've played and nothing bad will happen. We're talking about exploiters who have used the thing to give themselves millions of TP. If you're a reasonable person, if/when the bug happens to you you'll see it and stop before you deploy 5 times, let alone the 500 times they were doing.
Long story short: Calm down.
