It wouldn't show under platoon contribution, it would show under total contribution because it's counting as you Deploying them to the zone multiple times.
Odds are the glitch happened to you, odds are you exacerbated the glitch by pushing the button a couple times, and--most importantly--odds are exactly 0 will happen to you. Just relax. Accidents do happen, and they get that, otherwise they wouldn't have made an announcement.
