EA connect, how?

Step One - Have an account from Great Britain

you can't, yet

Now that there has supposedly been world-wide release, I should have the button for an account in the USA. But I don't. What's the new Step One? I've been trying all kinds of things but no button exists for me. And I've lost lots of freebie shards already.

Weird how EA wants us to connect with them, but they don't connect with us.

I was able to connect and do it. Might need to force close and relaunch the app. A few people from my guild were having the same issue and that helped.

It also forces you to get a new code every time you visit the store... kinda annoying.

I’ve force closed, restarted, deleted the app, tried on both iPad and iPhone, updated what I can. Still only see this:

Anyone been able to resolve this?

This just happened to me today, and I found a fix for the problem.
Reset your EA password via your email.
