Easiest team to get 7* Thrawn?

Farm ezra, there's still time. I did 7* without Sabine. Was not too hard. Chopper's unique is very helpful.

Hera is your leader she's needed, ezra is best phoenix and kanan and garazeb are easily farmable, leaves sabine and chopper, sabine is better i think but is harder to farm, depends on the amount of cantina refreshes and the amount of guild tokens a day

As far as "easiest", I will assume that means, least geared/leveled. I believe this event was tailored to the following team: Hera, Ezra, Chopper, Zeb, and Kanan. This was especially evident that when they released the characters as free to play, Sabine was the hardest to get and without spending money in packs, likely it wouldn't be possible to get in time for the event.

The final level of the Thrawn event there's an auto-taunt stormtrooper that can retaunt. Ezra's cleanse move is great to clear the initial taunt, and then Chopper comes with a cleanse move, as well, to clear the retaunt. This is ideal so you can take out the Deathtroopers as quickly as possible. Kanan's taunt and shared unique helps the team survive and Chopper's taunt can help take some heat off of Kanan (or cover briefly if he gets Fractured). Zeb and Chopper's shared healing uniques really help the team survive. And don't forget Ezra's Watch and Learn move that can give Ezra and a tank like Kanan more protection to survive longer.

Sabine is a great unique character for other parts of the game, but at lower gear levels especially, beating the Thrawn event is all about survivability, and she adds none to the team. When the event was first running, I remember hearing from those that had paid to get her, that the event needed gear 10 characters. I beat it easily (maybe only one retry due to bad RNG) with three gear 8 and two gear 9 characters because I did NOT have Sabine.

The other important thing is speed. Use your best mods and try to get Hera and Ezra up to 200 speed, maybe as high as 220. Kanan and Zeb at 175 - 185 should be fine. And Chopper can easily make 200+.
