Echo & Fives Synergy

Echo and Fives worked together throughout the clone wars and became ARC Troopers. Since they're both in the game, why not give them some synergy? This is my personal idea:

If Echo is critically hit, Fives gains "Health over time" and "Taunt" for 2 turns.

If Fives inflicts speed down, Echo gains 50% TM

Tell me what you think could be improved, but don't make it another GG one by rewriting the entire thread.
  • Clones already have strong synergies when you use them all together. They don't need more.

    +1. They could probably use another character or 2 but clones probably have one of the best synergies in the game. All their toons synergize with each other in some way. Whether it's uniques or specials.


    Just make Echo automatically assist Fives whens fives uses his assist attack like Wiggs lol. Echo doesn't do nearly as much damage as Wedge does, the cooldown is longer and fives is slower.

    Cody already has that ability, except it calls all clones (plus one other ally) to assist. Base cooldown is 6 turns but that can be reduced to 2 turns to match Wiggs if each ally lands a critical hit. And let's not forget that Echo will almost certainly throw in two more assists on this ability with a full squad of clones. If both of these crit as well, Cody's cooldown becomes 0. Every clone who assisted will recover 7% max health from Echo and if Cody is the leader, they will also recover 5% of their max protection. Echo will also have granted 20% TM to an ally up to three times.

    So like I said. They already have plenty of synergy. You just need more clones (Cody in particular) to get it.

    To comment on this specifically: In my experience it feels to me like it goes on a zero cool down. Maybe it calculates the echo assists as well but it does certainly look like it does.

    And echos follow up should be echo always assists on fives basic
    For fives:
    Combined fire:echo will also assist
    Fives unique:echo will also gain the counter chance and turn meter (tm is for the zeta)
    What do you think?


    I really like the idea of a synergy between them, but as you said they are too op. I think your ideas are much more balanced tbh. But maybe give echo half the counter chance and tm gain of fives?
  • The Cody assist ability goes to 0 if everyone crits. Because it says all assist attacks. So 5 members + one from the double shot from echo
