Its very clear that the damage in that gif is inflated from supermods. Especially using cody lead as you have suggested to reduce the cooldown, you will be very lucky to hit 25k. Consider the reys hitting from behind foresight for 30-40k puts it in perspective. Cody is slow and squishy, as lead he can easily get dropped before he moves.
Not as lead, u will be lucky to get a 5 turn cooldown on a 25k damage skill. He dies way before he gets to use it again anyway. If u use a rex lead, he lives a bit longer buy not longer enough to use his assist again. If you use a JKA lead, same issue with cody lead, he will die in turn 1 or 2.
I am not sure what you mean by supermods, please elaborate on that if you could.
Comparing anyone to Rey doesn't put things into perspective. She is the outlier and no one can really match her in terms of damage.
Hey warmonkey sure! Supermods are what mods were initially released as, when you had 12000 protection flat bonuses etc. The damage values under these mods would be over double what could be achieved with current mods. If you look at the gif, the protection and health pips are way off what is attainable on cody and co.
