I created an account just to comment on this thread... I was so frustrated when I read the patch notes...
To explain:
I am very frustrated about the nurf, the clone team is something i was busting to get 7* for (Ani/Sarge/Echo/Fives/Cody) because in the raid echo does the following with cody:
1. Extra damage on each assist on 212th attack
2. Gives turn meter to allies whilst doing his assist
3. Reduces the cooldown on 212th because of critical hit guarentee and number of assists
I am wondering if the best soluton would be either to just NOT change echo or alternatively change Cody's ability to accept cooldown reduction on assists outside of when he uses 212th. For example if I get a critical assist outside of the 212th from a clone, it does not currently count to a reduction in cooldown. This is actually different to the wording in his special : "Each time an assist calls a critical hit, reduce the cooldown of his attack by 1". Not ONLY is this only working with critical hits, but also assisits outside of the attack do not reduce cooldown.
As for cody's other abilities, the basic is so-so decent but the aeo is bad and his health is wafer thin... for such a long awaited character, he could do with some love...
RAID was the only place where he was viable, and now this change makes him a dead weight amongst the team and he takes FIVE raid pieces to gear up including THREE furnances...! He is completely useless in PVP even with the echo extra assist because he gets targeted asap...
Anyhow please devs give cody / echo / clones some love...
