Emperor's Demise (Mythic) start date?

This is probably a stupid question (but please answer it anyway :p ), but what's the difference between the Mythic event and the regular Eperor's Demise that's happening right now?

The mythic unlocks after you beat the regular event and is replayable with different rewards (in this case credits and mods). It has 3 tiers. The first is the same as the original event, the second you can use any team, and the third is very difficult and uses the opposite team and the unlocked character.

Mythic event emperor demise can be play if someone already have papa palpi *7. Increase in difficulty, and useful reward. Only *7 chars can enter the mythic. It's divide in 3 tier, can buy refresh. U can get g12 armatek pieces, blue-gold mod.

Regular emperor is to unlock papa palpi, can't do refresh, reward mainly papa palpi shards.

I've never participated in a Mythic event before (still a relatively new player) and I'm a couple of days from getting my last rebel to 7* so I can finish the regular event. Sometimes it can be hard to get details on what an event is, or what the requirements are for any given event.

Unfortunately, I don't have a 7* Empire crew, but I'm looking forward to giving the first 2 tiers a whirl! That is, unless this event is already over before the date change. It wasn't going to be a problem before (starting on the 18th), but if it's truly from the 10th and only lasts 2 days, I might be cutting it really close.

Of course, dates posted are subject to change, but this seems an odd choice considering mythics were meant to run at the end of an event so people had a better chance of finishing the main then moving on to the mythic. At least, that's my recollection.

I think the 18th was a mistake. The standard so far has been that it runs for the weekend during the legendary.

I love seeing the G12 pieces but I wish the rewards for mythic events were just triangle and arrow mods...the other 4 aren’t really rewards
