Endurance Valor Buff Provides Damage Immunity

Yesterday I was in a Fleet battle, my Executrix against enemy Endurance. The battle wasn't going particularly well, but I had beaten a few ships and Endurance had called three reinforcements, two of which were still on the field. Endurance used Hold Fast (ally recovers 40% protection, taunts, gains crit immunity, 2 turns). Fives was on the field with JC (taunting), and don't recall the third, maybe Clone Sergeant. Wasn't Rex or Biggs or Ahsoka, I had already beaten them.

Okay fine. I attack the taunt a couple times and remove its protection. Endurance then buffed all the enemy with Valor. Attack again with my three remaining ships ... NO DAMAGE. I understand immune from crit hits, but no damage at all?

So then I used Executrix Imperial Assault, a gloriously massive wave of TIE fighters that swoops in and provides 12 attacks to random targets. This attack generally ends the match or severely cripples the opposing fleet. I was not expecting complete destruction this time, but definitely a change in momentum. The result this time? NO DAMAGE. No damage to any of the enemy ships. Nothing. So I lost the match.

I know, less QQ, more Pew Pew. But this just looks like a bug. Anybody else see anything like this?
  • I had Mace Windu give someone taunt and Valor and my guys kept reducing his turn meter so he never lost it...

    how did you have them reduce the TM? I don't get that part.

    My fave strategy is to give clone sarge taunt and then give retribution from maul to sarge as well.

    thats why all the people who are saying mace sucks dont know what they are talking about. tack on the republic synergy mace is pretty powerful.
  • I haven't used anything but Tarkin yet. Probably handicapping myself, but the old school Imperial Star Destroyer is my jam.

    Rex's basic can... if they have a buff or debuff.
  • IMO - convergence ability is a little too much, may need a slight nerf. I don't have a problem with the ability itself, my issue is the fact that the damage immunity is for one complete turn. I can understand if it was for a single attack, then expires, but a full turn?? It's a bit too much. Someone target locks an enemy, Biggs then taunts, Mace throws out convergence, suddenly everyone is literally invincible.

    Think about it in regards to the regular game in GW or Arena. If an opponent gets damage immunity for one turn... imagine if that opponent is slowed and your entire team can hit that person at least once - that's 5 attacks that this guy does not take damage.

    That would just be a foresight buff, which is really bad for an ultimate ability that has a 20 turn cooldown...
