Ah. Not hard mode conquest. That explains it.

So it would seem. The only reason I stay on normal is because I don't think I have enough high-quality teams to push through all of it on Hard mode. And now with Relic Delta being implemented, it might have to stay on the back-burner even longer.

By the sounds of it from people who are testing it they are planning to do something different with conquest at least initially. You only need to hit the first crate in hard to beat max crate on Normal.

The first box on Hard is equal to or better than the final crate on Normal.
Don't worry about pushing all the way through. Just get the 1st crate, and if you can't get more, you get more time off.

If you can access Hard mode, staying on normal is gimping yourself to a degree that's just stupid. IIRC, the first reward box on hard is better than max box on normal. So you would actually save time just by getting, what is it, 100 points? on hard mode to grab the first box and then not playing one more battle. I mean, keep playing normal if you want, but know that you're cutting yourself off at the knees. You don't need 20 R8 teams to play hard mode. Hard mode opens at 4mln GP. The moment you can play hard mode, you should never even look at normal mode again.

I didn't know about the difference between the boxes.
I will say that Datacron farming and mats would be more readily accessible on Normal for me, but I'll give Hard mode a shot next time. Oh, and I've come around to Zealous Ambitious. Very fun. MQG with POW hits for half a million damage.
