I think there is need of another topic about the severe bugs that the latest TU caused. Bugs where reported at the corresponding place and confirmed. And hotfixed was released a day later but did not solve the probleme entirely, as can be read here in the post by @Ultra :https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Entrenched-bug-Crystal-refund-request/m-p/10446639#M49867There it is recommended to reach out to EA support for refund. I did and they could not help me. They called this issue recent and known, inquired for refund but it was not possible. That is why I am creating this post here, because there need to be a dev statement. The bug first cost me energy, because I lost fights before I noticed why my teams don't perform anymore as expected. Then I lost time until the hotfix was released. After the fix however, I again lost fights because some duplicate datadisks still did not work as inteded. So I had to rebuy energy to compensate for lost battles and lost time. Additionally, I had to do boss fights without these datadisks, which gave me an disadvantage.I needed to equip other disks, which cost me currency and they where not optimal, as I picked entrenched preferably when several good disks were given in a selection on a node.

Just like the Stand Your Ground issue, they will probably do nothing. I doubt there will be some kind of make good. Even though they should do something. Many people lost energy, shards, currency, etc. because of this updat.

I’m currently enjoying the bug. I needed the health recovery feat on SLKR to get max crate. I couldn’t do it before the bug because entrenched was preventing me from healing (since I was only losing bonus protection). I was going to pay to remove those disks, but the bug did the work for me lol.+10 conquest currency!

EA support will even confirm what you lost, when, etc but then since they take 5 to 8 hours to respond, you will get a different person then you get to explain it again. Finally days later you get to start over after you get the one that can't figure it out and closes the ticket.

If Entrenched disks of teh same rarity aren't stacking, but ones of different rarities are, how can a support person say that the disk is working? It's still not working properly. It's disingenuous to claim it's working. 1 blue entrenched is working. If you have 2 blue entrenched, the second one WILL NOT WORK. So imho, the problem is not corrected at all. Actually now it's worse because before at least CG said there's a problem with Entrenched (admittedly, LONG after the community figured it out) so ppl could know it's not working. Now they're claiming it's fixed when it clearly isn't. And there's no way they're fixing it before Conquest ends since it's the weekend.

Based on CG's recent history, here's what going to happen moving forward: They will make a statement that Entrenched discs of the same rarity no longer stack (making the "description" match the bug, instead of fixing it) and there will be no compensation for the spent crystals, event currency removing useless discs, etc. The usual CG Marks of disregarding player experience lately.

I have 3 blue entrenched equipped. I took those cards over some other pretty good cards.

What refund am I supposed to request for that? I didn't spend money or crystals. But they are now making the event harder for me in that I don't have the other discs that I could have chosen.

I even selected some tougher fights to get at those discs along the way, resulting in extra energy use to go back and 3 star those fights later.

I don't know how many fights I lost before realizing they were broken, or how much currency I spent changing discs because of it.

This is pretty rubbish when I need to be super careful with the currency to be able to get CAT.

Oh yeah, and when they said they were fixed i used currency to put them back on. Now they are staying because I can't spare the currency.

Well, it's good to be made aware of this bug, I had 2 green and 1 blue Entrenched on, but this really just highlights that changing your data discs should not cost currency in the first place.
