Epic confrontation solution

Put them on a 6 month cadence. Allow shards to be re-earned. Players can choose to use GET to push to 7 star early or wait for events to return. You could even reduce shards after completing the first event. It gives players that "choice". Want to wait 6 months to use them? Or upgrade them now.

Refund 25% of the base GET players invested in their GAS and Malaks. Or, just say this is the way of things now.

  • Yes, agreed. That would work very well. I’m no where near getting Darth revan, Malak, GAS but if the events dropped the shards in lower numbers after completing the event first time round (as you stated) that would give us FTP players at least a route to getting the toons we want to work hard for.
Our guild just about scores a handful of stars on geo TB, so would take years to stockpile GET tokens if that is the only route to achieve a 7* toon.
  • i would say 25% will not be fair 50% would be best those who paid and unlocked also just allowing shards to come turning into shard currency or allowing people to upgrade to 7 star those who wants it they can have it, Reason here is people who dont have gas atleast by rng they have 50% chance to defeat till next tier comes this will close the parity b/w people, dev also next time all tough event should be capped at f2p highest gear level which is gear xii.5 ignoring the last cryotech, if they want to earn money they can release a new toon sell packs which they natively followed when carrie was there after this new game director looks like he is the one who is swinging the pendulum carrie spoke bitter but she spoke the truth, silent one is more dangerous wake up cg still things can be fixed its not late.

**Provided i still dont have malak at 7 star**
  • There are many ways the current rule set could be changed to give players hope that this isn’t the end of GOH.
Some use this game to escape the real world if only for a few minutes of distraction within the star wars world.
If you want to look after your player base, make them want to play the game you say you LOVE developing. If you’re a dev at CG, do you see the changes as fair towards real life players who can’t spend hundreds on a game?
The fun in GOH is mixing up random teams to see what they can do but the option to mock battle just doesn’t exist. Would it be a massive effort to setup an squad arena that only has your crew listed and gives you say 5-10 tries against your crew members per day - not even asking for prizes or rewards. Just a way to improve forms - Konami managed it with little effort in SWFC, so surely it’s not outside the realms of EA/CG’s skill set?
