Era Challenges are poorly designed top-to-bottom.

Era challenges are a dud. They provide mind-numbingly boring gameplay, the rewards are minuscule, and the difficulty is over-tuned to the point that they don't even match the suggested unit level, even 5 levels over. Worse still, they clog up the pipes with an anti-fun **bleep** for an entire week just to bloat the era cadence. Stinky!

Era challenges need to be reworked or dumped. They have no redeeming qualities. I'd rather have literally nothing running for that week; it would save me the time and annoyance and my event screen would be cleaner.
