Personally, I'm upset that everything past the least valuable tiers are gated behind Rotta. Having spent 30K crystals to get STC straight to 7 star R9, it feels like my investment isn't exactly being rewarded here.

Era Battles have had the same model since Era of Anniversary: tier 4 and up requires the Era's legendary unit. Why did you think it would be different this time? Your reward for the investment is R9 Snowman when most players will have him below 7* for 10 more weeks.
