Era characters hard capped at 55?

So with the era and the loaned units it 100% has slowed down the progress but talking to guild mates some are stuck at lvl 54-55 because the mk-3 mat they need you have to max tier 5 to get any but that is not physically possible in the current state… is there any talks to make the progress feel slower but still consistent as it looks not worth doing anything at the start of an era even for the bonus currency since if you do not need the LST’s your just getting more r10 mat that most people can actually use? Will there be changes to the era store like episode and guild to bring relic mats there giving players another source to grow their account/what they need the most from the currency as for some r10 is all that is left and for others it is not even worth at their current account state?
