It's camouflage, the clones wore armor like that in the clone wars too when fighting in a forest- Can't be him - he would have been long dead due to accelerated aging in clones right?
Would be sweet though - I just re-watched all of the originals over the weekend and noticed that dude... would be cool. "sneeyatch;952905" wrote:

I did the math and he would be like 74 I think, clones were also enhanced in other ways so it's not out of the question for him to still be kicking butt"MBL_66;952964" wrote:

Not only that Dave Filoni speculated that Rex might be the old member of the Endor strike team from Return of the Jedi. "I really do think that Rex is that guy on Endor," he said, "I really do. Why else is there a bearded old guy on Endor, Tano? Why? It makes no sense. If you don't want that to happen, do you know what that means? I'm gonna make that happen, I'm getting like Palpatine, I'm getting power crazy." In Legends, the character was identified as Nik Sant.- it has been made canon that that is rex !

@MBL_66
am I missing the maths here... Anakin is what say 17 at the point to aotc and I don't know this is a fact but let's say the clones are aged to physical peak at what 20... so rex is 3 yrs older than Vader...
let's say Anakin was 19 when luke was born..
luke was 17 in a new hope. let's say 5 yrs to rotj....
so in return of the jedi Luke is 22... Vader 39 amd rex is 42ish...."Darthpippa;953413" wrote:

Rex was born 32 years BBY, so he was 64 in ANH. Endor was 5 years later I think
