So I finally managed to have all the requirements before May 15th, though was unaware of the once a month time window: on the 15th I forgot to unlock it. I just researched it takes 2 years to 7-Star.
No thank you. Forget it. It is a major grind just to unlock characters in this game, without any fun or enjoyment, and then this? One time a month only?
Keep it, I refuse to play that game of punishment.
Haven't there been rumours of a new fleet for about 2 years..... last one was leviathon and I just don't want to level up dark side ships and toons I have no intention of playing, I got executor very soon after it became available by doing refreshes and saving crystals as per other suggestions and yes IU am F2P, same with profunidty but until they got their new 'lifters' they became useless for a while, at least with marauder and punishing one they became viable again, BUT still I would like to see a new LS capital ship and if it is New republic thats fine...... just hope they actually do it finally
Two years is misleading, as the majority of people will refresh at least a little bit.
Not investing in meta fleets is a choice that will haunt you as long as you play across all game modes. If you don’t want to do Exec that’s fine, speculation is the meta will change soon to a New Republic fleet. You can invest in that.
Me saving up 20K crystals for Leviathan:
Do it. Or don't.
Do what many others who want to get ahead do: Save up enough crystals to buy the meta ships all at once as soon as you're ready. Then reach Rank 1 daily in the Fleet Arena, and you'll recoup your costs in no time.
If you’d rather wait years, don’t be surprised if those toons or ships aren’t meta anymore by the time you’re ready.
I mean, you can do you. But I didn't mind relicing up Darth Vader, Admiral Piett, and Boba Fett. They're great characters who still have a place in the meta. The bounty Hunters less so, but they're all used in the Executor fleet anyway.
You can refresh the monthly event for 1000 crystals (up to 19 times per event, I believe). So you get a minimum of 10 shards free, plus refreshes.
I'm totally f2p, and I just saved up some crystals each month and had my 7* Executor in about 3 or 4 months. It's really not that bad.
