Egnard did a sheet to collect data, for ex. today (% aprox.)...
9B drop rates 126% Grey 57% Green (855 Battles)
9D drop rates 129% Grey 40% Blue (1736 Battles)
9F drop rates 67% Green 48% Blue (8219 Battles)
Old ones (Sector 8) were 137% Grey 93% Green 66% Blue
He did a video and a this image with the data a few days ago...
Crystal value is better Sector 9, but if you need 1 especific type is faster the sector 8. But in the long run is better sector 9 (the purple for r10 is cheaper to get scrapping the grey with the jawa).
Wonderful, hard data from a reliable source!Jarpin3786, here is your solution!

Holy force, they cut the greens' drop chance so harshly. The blue ones are absolutely terrible. No wonder the drops are so terrible.

What part of “better in the long run” is being eluded here? Besides, the new cantina data has a fifth less sims than the lvl 8 nodes (625 vs 500) so we can assume that at an equal level, 9-B is 360 and not 288. 9-F is 415.
Like OP said - if you’re looking for one type specifically, level 8 is quicker, but level 9 rewards a second type.
It makes sense from a business standpoint - get drops high and narrow (more drops for a single type) or lower and wider (less drops but more types).

Well, I feel a little mislead. When RD, higher relics on datacrons and Relic 10 came in; we were told they were going to make earlier level relics easier. My assumption (we all know about people that make assumptions) was these new nodes were a way to make early/mid relics much easier. Easier possibly, but not much easier.
