Depends on where you are, I guess......  I presume there are a lot of Ezras in Aurodium and Chromium, but not many Tanos.  So, yes I guess that Ezra has been a real thorn.

In Kyber though, players are likely to have both Rey and Tano.........I don't really see Ezra being substantially favourable on one line up over the other.  I don't think to myself "Yes!!!  Ezra's on Tano, not Rey!!"  Whichever, he makes the counter a little harder.  That said, to contradict myself, I prefer to put him on Rey.

In 3v3 with r10 Rey,Ezra and r9-10 Ben the counters all came down to rng and Datacrons… this really fixes the other issue of Ezra in 3v3 with JMK,cat needing basically Leia to beat it

Because it was already tbh should of been non GR Jedi or spctre because then those without Glat but have JML still give him a needed lifter character as really JML is the only GL who does not have a strong lifter
