F2P Player, Can't do Era Challenge

As a F2P player I obviously don't spend on this game, and my crystals are limited by this and my performance in grand arena and ships, because of this I don't spend crystals on new characters. So I have been going through this new character acquiring system the same as always, except that I have no control over my progress beyond attempt coliseum every day, which some bosses I've got to 25% but some only 19%. I have a lvl 7 Luke Stormtrooper, I can't give him mods, I literally cannot touch the first enemies in the Era Challenge, I just die. You have both made the new character acquiring method pay to play, and now the Episode Track where I'm going to lose out on 16k points of progression. FIX YOUR GAME, before it dies.
