Completely flawed and trash design that hurts the game tremendously and no matter how well geared your characters are, mods limit them to a stupid degree. If they changed how mods work I would consider spending some cash, until then they can have their pixels to themselves

Mods are literally the only thing preventing arena from being a literal coinflip.

Computers don't flip actual coins.

You truly do not understand mods with that statement. There are so many education guides and how to’s on the net. There is even a little button called Basic / Advanced on you character’s mod management screen. Clicking basic and then the “!” on the tips tells you what mod combo works best with your character.

Yeah dude just buy it, get a loan if you have to because we can all just afford it. So what do you do when you want faster progression but don't wanna pay for it?

The game is about collecting characters and powering them up, it's NOT about resource management. Resource management is what happens when everything is overpriced and progression is too slow.

And no I don't believe that if we could progress faster we'd reach the point of a maxed account by now, and even if you somehow reached maximum progression you would still probably not quit, testament to that is players who have had maxed accounts for months and months before g13 and you bet when they get everything at g13 they will still keep playing

You aren’t entitled to a **** thing in the game, so to get things you need to work for it. To manage resources , to plan. Nothing should come easy to you unless you spend money. You’re a customer once you spend money. So you get things easier because you matter.
Funny that you imply not everyone has the money to spend on the game , then give an example about poor resource management in real life , that mirrors how the game works.

The balding head theory
1 Oh I can’t afford to pay for the game so I need a loan because I don’t have the money (resource)

2 everything requires currency in the game , and there’s not enough of it to spend on everything I want (like a video game)

3 the game is about collecting characters. Not managing resources.

4 I also have to be a super competitive player in this game. I do that by collecting characters and being frivolous with my resources that don’t need to be managed.

Please educate us about the value/price of pixels, whose value disappears the second the servers shut down

This argument can be made for LITERALLY every single videogame with microtransactions. Yet people still buy it.

Why you may ask?

Because if you know anything about business a product is more so meant to make someones life easier and offer a problem to a solution.

Problem: I need a 7* character for this limited legendary event.

Solution: Buy the character 7* instead of waiting for the next event.

Heck, the same can go for movies as the second the screen shuts down that ticket value is worthless.

It's meant as entertainment.

Well except you didn't address the issue of pricing. I'm not arguing the game should be free, but how do you justify spending half a thousand dollars on a character? The fact that some individuals are so rich and willing to pay those amounts for pixels aka digital entertainment, is telling about what kind of society we live in.

I buy alot of video games but they don't cost nowhere near the price of a single character in GOH and I know I can go back and replay them whenever I wish. But people unfortunately don't understand the value of money, especially when they didn't earn it.

The reason the prices are so high is because the whales still buy them.

If they weren't making any sales the prices would be lowered.

If you are doing all you can with mods, answer these questions.

How many mod energy refreshes do you do daily?

Do you do them every single day without fail?

How often do you farm slicing mats instead of mods?

How do you determine which mods to slice?

How often do you buy mods from the store?

Are you getting first in fleet every day?

How do you determine which mods to buy from the store?

When you compare your mods to your opponent in GA, how often do you have more +10 speed mods?
