Fdc’s/normal dc’s for stranger set

Well clearly (no matter what they say about 'tidying up the cycles') the move is to suck out more money.

However, the average player is going to have more (not less) datacrons.   We still have exactly the same amount of time to farm datacrons as before, just less time for each set.  However, there are 3 sets in play, instead of 2.

Yes, if you want all the perfect crons from each set, it'll cost you more money (as intended).  However, if you aren't spending or wish to spend the same amount, you'll have a choice which suits you.  Do you add more crons with lower levels or with less perfectly rerolled 3s, 6s & 9s?   Or do you work. on less crons but more tailored to your needs?  Remember, you have another 2 sets to make up the balance of what you'll need for you offence & defence.

That's over 3 sets though, compared to 2 sets before.  What's more most of us don't have level 9s for all our teams, it just doesn't work out like that, especially now that we're only getting 2 factions per set.  

I guess those that have invested heavily in the new Era stuff are going to be hard pushed.  2 level 15s, 5 level 9s plus whatever they'll need from regular crons.  However, 1. If they've bought into spending that much with CG's latest scam, I'm sure they can afford the datacrons too.  2. It's not a new era every month.  So, almost certainly this is a quarterly investment.

CG did this on purpose so we'd have 7 FDCs at a time when no set is dusting and therefore we have no stash of resources. They absolutely knew what they were doing. If they wanted to promote this shuffle of cron cadence, they could have given us a freebie, even a symbolic one, something like 500 of each upgrade and reroll mat, 50mln datacache. They didn't do that because they want to squeeze us. This is one of those blatant cash grabs that too many people invoke too often. This one is actually that. 

It was precisely thought out. 

I get your points I guess I’m just more thinking as a k1 player that usually you see lev 9’s on everyone so now it’s more difficult if you add 7 fdc’s into the mix. Getting 11 lev 9’s without fdc’s is fairly easy enough just adding in the fdc’s makes it more expensive 

The thing I'm really noticing in TW (pre 5v5s GAC) is the amount of teams I cannot use level 9s with now anyway.  I don't have a single relic 6 Bad Batch character.  Taking Echo to relic 6 is something I will probably do and stick him on a Queenie team....if that is worth it for the datacron.  I guess I want 2 Imperial Remnant level 9s, but they don't feel mandatory.  

I can't see anybody finding more than 6 (and that's a liberal amount) level 9 regular datacrons being useful.

Somebody like me, that punches up a bit and has taken their characters to relic 5 or 3 for datacrons is really being hurt by the new relic 6 limit, alongside relic delta....................but I guess that's what they want, to punch the guys that don't spend so much back down to where they belong.

Anyway, I feel that I and most people will need less level 9s per set than was the case a few months ago.
