This is not a nerf. It's fixing a bug - just like Leia was not supposed to do critical 100% of the time, Asajj was not supposed to heal others as the ability description clearly states it should only heal her.

Does it suck? Yes. Is it a nerf? Nope.

You are correct. But they could have fixed this by changing the text in her description instead and gave the Dark Side a healer.
