Gotta agree with you there, it gets annoying making squads in TW and TB because you can only make one really good ship squad. But the blame for ships not being popular is all on CG. They neglected ships for like 6 months, only giving us a small amount of ships that take ages to farm. Look at ship omegas and hardware, no way to get them even though they were introduced at the start of ships. . CG have the potential to make ships really fun but they need to actually put resources and effort into ships.
