Fixing TW
It’s long been said by so many that Territory War simply won’t be fixed because CG can’t monetize the game mode; so long as the rewards are okay or decent, there is no need to push it when other modes are seen as priority.
What is clear is the mode is broken, able to be easily exploited and gamed. A rework should be necessary, or at the least the whole mode should be scrapped. Many guilds view it as optional and less essential. I wanted to create a space for what you’d love to see and how it could be fixed. I’ll lay out some ideas here, it doesn’t mean they are great but they are ideas.
1) More/larger zone deployment to prevent guilds from bullying lower gp guilds
2) An elo system, based on wins and losses based on specific groupings of guilds, as well as GP
3) a bracket for guilds and a more built out multi week process—rewards increasing as you do better and better and finish higher
4) individual achievements based on what era we are in, ones that can give a title or even shards for characters.
