Fleet shipments Reward vs Arena Reward

When there is a 450k power 7* Tarkin golden fleet in rank 95, you know you never gonna make 20. Fix the broken fleet shard, and fix the rewards!

They probably just want people to be more active in fleet arena

An extra few hundred crystals per day is a lifesaver. But surely 450K Tarkin at rank 95 is an exaggeration

I understand the mentality of adding high end rewards to encourage people to try harder in Fleet arena. Many have been phoning it in HARD, and that includes paying players. But that tiny window of rewards is only an incentive to a tiny number of people.

Someone sitting at 50 might think about trying harder to crack top 20. But there are thousands on arena leaderboards. Having some kind of crystal rewards for top 50, or top 100 would incentivize people in the 200s to push a bit. I would guess the majority of players who have been putting in minimal effort in ships will see top 20 as so far beyond their reach that they won't try harder than they have been.

I definitely like that they made Fleet a bit more rewarding, and made more ships farmable. Maybe the rewards will be expanded for lower tiers if this doesn't shake up Fleet arena enough.

Mah man, work on your ships. Those 900 crystals for me as a F2P are life-saving. I can refresh anything I want right now without worrying about crystals.

I agree with the OP. If you thought "collusion" at the top of arena shards was a concern, the issue will be far wrose on fleet arena, where the rewards are much more top heavy.

Is a poor reward structure to make up for the fact that they simply didn't design enough good content for ships.
