April Fool’s Character Idea: Origami Yoda

Back in the bygone era of 2010, an official Star Wars children’s book series was made known as Origami Yoda which was quite popular in school. At least, as far as I remember. I think it would be funny if for April Fool’s either the various paper puppets (Origami Yoda, Darth Paper, Fortune Wookiee, Han Foldo, Jabba the Puppett, Princess Labelmaker, and Art2-D2) from the series were unlockable for a limited time or it could just be one character, being Dwight Tharp, who is the kid that made the majority of the puppets. The latter has a lot of potential, with Dwight maybe having an ability that lets him switch between the various puppets, giving him good synergy with whatever group it would correspond with. I should emphasize that this is simply a joke and that I don’t really want Origami Yoda content in the game.

The book The Strange Case of Origami Yoda I believe it sadly wasn't licensed by Lucasfilm / Disney so I highly doubt any reference to it would be included.

However, a version of Yoda which would be highly likely and could be an April Fools idea is Shadow Yoda as many players would complain about him and feel befuddled similar to what happened with Dark Side Vision Rey.

  • I double checked, and Origami Yoda is indeed licensed by Lucasfilm. Shadow Yoda would be a far better addition, though
