No need to be a whale to easily breeze through this event, and nobody lies about beating this event (plenty of videos show it being beaten full auto @Bakhtosh ). AoE, Ability Block or Stun on the Elders, cautious manipulation of the cooldowns and TM at the end of each stage, are the three keys to beating this event.
Off course, moaners have to understand that Assault Battles are not your ordinary kind of Marquee event. There could be said that there are three kinds of events :
- the easy ones, that everyone will beat pretty much anytime (Marquee, Omega)
- the middle ones, that require farming a good set of characters, with progressive difficulty (Legendary)
- the hard ones, that need a focused farming and a good strategy (Assault Battles)
Always has been so, and always will be. Assault Battles are meant to be difficult (hence the "difficult" and "very difficult" assessment of their tiers), and those that look easy now (Military Might) will eventually get a rework, like Forest Moon already did.
And Forest Moon got a rework because the Imperial Troopers' rework made it too easy. Get Veers and four Troopers at g8, with ok mods, and you still face a cakewalk.
