Forest Moon Assault Battles

...were purposefully setup to anger players.

I'm a level 85 player and have been for a long time and have my Empire characters well equipped, geared, etc. and since this particular AB's rework from a few times ago, I can barely beat Tier 1 whereas before I achieved 3*s in the first two tiers with ease.

An Ewok Elder having around 300 speed is bogus.
An EE being able to instantly refresh cooldowns is bogus.
An EE being able to resurrect more than one toon at a time is bogus.
Ewoks dodging attacks more often than TFP in ship arena is bogus.

I can't even begin to fully list every ridiculous thing about this AB.

I'm all for challenging battles, quests, etc. but this in comparison with the other AB's is messed up. It seems to me that unless you have an already fully developed Thrawn in order to fracture Chirpa and the EE's then you need the Hand of God to intervene on your behalf in order to win, and it shouldn't be like that.

    The best part is going through all of the aggravation of these fights and then being rewarded with Teebo shards, blue salvage and white mods!

    Not sure how many times players need to read that you need strong AoE and good control before they stop saying it's not possible.

    Veers-led troopers make this event easy. I'm f2p and my Shoretrooper is woefully understarred and geared, all their mods are pretty average and I've not struggled to finish it.

    I couldn't do the recent empire one because my rebels are poorly geared and I don't have good synergies. I didn't cry about it being impossible, I just knew I wasn't ready for that event yet. Maybe I will be when it comes round again, maybe not (rebels don't interest me).

    Well, doesn't really matter as long as you can beat it. For me zVader lead is more fun, as I love those dots sticking on the ewoks till the end ;)

    Did this event get harder? Last time I was able to beat tier 2. Now even though the same team I used last time is more powerful I can't even get beat tier 1.

    My intern has not reported any issues or difficulties when clearing these battles??? I'll have to email him and see what he did.

    I stink at this battle. Recommended level 75, Gear 8 - um, no.

    Here's my weak sauce squad. Can't get past node 4 on tier 1:

    Tarkin (L) 7*, 85, G8
    EP 7*, 85, G10
    Vader 7*, 83, G10
    RG 7*, 82, G8
    Snow 7*, 82, G8

    They changed it during the Empire faction pass, when they boosted the Troopers. Three or four months ago. Your guildmates should have noticed it back then and taken the hint. A non-zeta Veers/Troopers, lvl 75, g8, non-maxed abilities, ok mods, is able to easily beat at least the first tier.

    Thanks! Finally got through all tiers with this team, and I don't even have a g11 toon. I've got g10 EP, Vader and Tarkin, g8 RG and snowtrooper. They're not even fully modded (I'm currently working on them). I'm just a noob cuz this is my normal empire team...but I always tried mixing up the combo with droids and it never worked.

    Switch EP to lead. The amount of debuffs you apply, which gives turn meter, far outweighs Tarkin's flat speed buff. I had this same combo and this made a huge difference. Then just make sure you ability block elders with Vader and snowtrooper, or stun them with RG or EP. Then for level 8, make sure to apply Shock to both Chirpa and EE so they don't get the HoT and counter.
