It only works when the edits are minor. If you post roughly the same for the third time, it gets caught in the spam filter.

In theory, a thusly disappeared post will reappear after a moderator has read and unblocked it. In practice, that never happens in this forum. If you've worked on a page-filling guide for twenty minutes, all it takes is to correct two typos in separate edits and it's gone forever.

While we're at it, i want the option to delete other people's posts please.

Because clones vs padme was an epic post it's a shame if you had the power to delete your post about it.
