There's an option to edit a post after it's submitted, can we have the option to delete?

If you need a post removed or closed, just tag a moderator and ask for them to take the action you want.

I just want to be able to delete my own post. Why should I have to consult a moderator? C'mon man!

I am just telling you how to get the action you want taken. If you want to know why, feel free to message CG_SBCrumb and ask him.

For me, trying to edit twice will delete a post.

    Doesn't work for me.

It only works when the edits are minor. If you post roughly the same for the third time, it gets caught in the spam filter.

In theory, a thusly disappeared post will reappear after a moderator has read and unblocked it. In practice, that never happens in this forum. If you've worked on a page-filling guide for twenty minutes, all it takes is to correct two typos in separate edits and it's gone forever.

I just tried that 2,3,4 times replacing a . for a -, then a / ; the reply just kept changing, but it didn't go away
