Capital Games TeamJust did it, beat Conquest on easy. Lots of Leader's Resolve and Zealous Ambition (just like last time), only a couple more gear levels and slightly better mods, still that made the difference between dying in record time like last month and breezing through the boss this month.
Now the question is, should I really tackle Normal next time with only 900 k GP or stick to Easy. For context, my score is a measly 365 and only two of my squads were even viable in Sector 5 at all, so I probably wouldn't get far in Normal. When did you all switch to Normal?
The reward crates are calibrated so that if you get max crate on one difficulty, the next difficulty higher will give you essentially the same rewards if you just get the very first crate. Since you'll probably get the 2nd or 3rd crate, the rewards will be better -- but even if they're not, you only have to get first crate to make sure they're the same.
And if you get that first crate but can't do any more, well, that's the same rewards for much less work. Why not go for the low-work option?
I still have trouble judging what my squads can manage and how the difficult will climb between easy and normal. So when you say an account around my GP could reach 2nd or 3rd crate (implying first crate is a given) that's the confirmation I needed. Thank you for the advice!
Should be a pretty similar leap from Normal to Hard as well. I realize that's not relevant to you for a while b/c of the 4.0Mgp requirement, but when you're just barely maxing Normal, the 1st crate on Hard should be a given and 2nd crate should be doable. Most likely you'll be easily maxing Normal before you reach 4.0Mgp, so don't fear taking the next step once you qualify.
