I think it's less so "hate" and moreso people not having them unlocked/geared up

I can assure you people hate Rose. Just go back and look at posts here when she was announced.
And shes actually a good toon. Was useful on ZFinn before the day that shall not be named.
She’s arguably MORE useful on Finn teams now. They need her stun to keep enemy teams locked down, whereas before you could rely on TM gain to keep the enemy from taking a turn.
