Frustrating help loop

So, I have heard of something similar. The key issue is if you deliberately or by accident you delete the Play games account. then it is irrecoverable. even if you recreate the account. it will be a blank slate it's as if it never happened. your game progress and data are held in the Play Games folder or account depending on how you look at it. if you delete this it's gone and CG nor EA can recreate as you deleted it. Play Games asks you just before if you really want to delete. if you say yes then it's gone.
