  • buy mods from the store. 

    Refreshing the mod store costs 15 crystals, you get more good potentials than if you spent 50 crystals on Mod Energy, and you only have to spend credits on ones you already know have speed. 

    For the rest, the mods from the Smuggler's Run and other mod-dropping events, set up a template for mods with no speed: 

    Save this to your saved filter list, then using that filter you go to the batch action page: 

    Here you select all, then upgrade to reveal all secondaries. 

    If speed is revealed, that mod will disappear from the list. 

    Select all again, and now you can safely hit the "SELL" button and get rid of all of your useless mods.

    You may notice that I have many other saved filters. Any offence Mod without either an Off% primary or an Off% secondary also gets sold. Before I upgrade to see what speed it hits, bc what's the point of an Offense mod with no Offense? 

    I do the same for Pot/NoPot, Def/NoDef, etc. For Crit Damage mods, I look for Off% since there's no such thing as a CD secondary, but it's the same principle. 

    Manage this stuff in batches, make the decisions in advance, then automate them, and everything gets a little easier.

    I get the point, and you're right that folks need the CC% with their CD mods, but bc of how the filter works that's complicated. 

    As of now, after I get rid of the CD mods with no Off%, I cull the ones without CC% by hand. There just aren't many to look through at that point. 

    The strategy is well taken, but either I misunderstood something about the filter mechanics (which is very possible), or the filter does not easily allow you to filter for a requirement of NOT OFF% or NOT CC%. You can filter easily for neither, but if you do that, you'll still have some in your collection that have one but not the other. And if you filter for both, it shows you the mods that have both -- which are the ones you do NOT want to delete. A filter which displays missing one but not the other works, but you have to do them separately, as two separate filters. You can't just add CC% to the Off% filter. 

    So I do it this way and then later eye-check them for CC%. 

    But you're right. Before I spend slicing mats on a CD mod they have to have BOTH. The leftovers (CD with Off% but not CC%) that I have from years ago before I was strict about deleting mods all go on First Order who churn Advantage and so don't need CC%. I won't get rid of those older ones, but I won't take any new ones without CC%.

    How many toons need a significant boost in crit chance at higher relic levels to merit much intentional farming of crit chance?  I think I do it more for "it logically goes together" than out of necessity.  Generally, if a toon has 85% or more CC at relic 7 + I'm happy.  Grand master yoda...?  

    I usually care about offense % being a present secondary over crit chance.  Ideally speed CC Offense % and health%/prot%, but how many mods are synergistic unicorns?

    I don't think this OP has the analytical mind for dealing with modding in SWGOH.  This person starts processing statistics and starts smashing buttons on their keyboard.

    Modding in SWGOH is a really complicated thing that is not user-friendly for 90% of SWGOH players.  If SWGOH's player-base was just 100% wealthy as a whole, they'd probably outsource farming to I.T. people.
