GAC Board in Kyber is far too small

While GAC is by far my most favorite game mode, its getting increasingly frustrating. All the matches are going down on efficiency because of the small board especially in 5v5.

There is absolutely no creativity whatsoever. In my last round I ended up not having used SLKR, JML, JMK, SEE, Baylan, Reva and DTMG at all which should all be top tier teams.

Problem is you throw like 6 new teams at once out there with STL, Choda, IBarriss, Ventress, IG-90 and DVDE or give old, mostly useless teams a new meaning and give New Bad Batch and DTMG a powerful Datacron but the board size still remains the same as it has been, when 25 of the current top teams didnt exist in the first place. So I have 8 new teams for a board of 11 teams.

Right now I cant use more than 50% of my roster, which is very frustrating.

Are there any plans on increasing the number of allowed teams any time soon?

I agree with the OP, it's annoying that so many teams don't get used now.  If you compare what we have now, compared to when this board was first set up, we have double? the 'good' teams.  I believe we should be using a larger board.

However, I also agree with crzydroid.  CG would probably get more criticism than if they just left it as it is.  So where's the incentive of adding slots?

I think compared to other leagues there's a cavernous gap between the top and bottom of Kyber.  There's leagues of difference.  So, a change like this could be implemented by taking the top of Kyber into its own new league........Beskar League?

One idea I had that I thought would be cool (if we think about 5v5 only here).   Keep the back (3 teams the same).  However have 3 zones on the front wall.  3 teams in each zone.  If you defeat the middle wall, you have access to both?   One wall of your choice?  walls at the back.

I think they are hesitant to simply increase the number of teams because they don't want to catch flak for increasing time commitment.

The solution probably requires some retooling where teams rotate more, though maybe that is ostensibly what the datacrons are trying to do.

It seems inevitable that with the game model the way it is, they end up painting themselves into corners repeatedly.
