Haven't tried to acti\ually delete my account to see what is still accessible, but it does say that GAC history will not be deleted.

How can I be deleted but still show history? How can my data be there and also not be there? This is the biggest fuster cluck ever and I can't believe this isn't the biggest topic to GAC players right now. Literally, it's like one football team being allowed to watch game film and the other isn't.

Its actually not a cluster F, I choose not to have an account, there is no rule in GAC or SWGOH that says anyone needs an account. A cluster F would be if my GAC history was made available to those with an account.

You're not getting it. The freedom to have an account isn't at issue. It's the fact that by not choosing to have a GG account you get a marked advantage in GAC over someone who DOES have one. That's a cluster F because it creates an incentive to not have a GG account. How is that not a cluster F for GG and GAC competitive fairness? You really don't see the problem?

No I don't see the problem at all. You don't get it. You choose to put your roster and battle history on public display voluntarily in a third party app/website, that is not my problem, that is yours. GG accounts are not part of SWGOH and are not required to play the game. Your argument is that it is unfair that other players did not sign up for a voluntary GG account. Show me the rules, or requirement in GAC or SWGOH that says I or anyone needs to have an account with GG to play SWGOH.

Please note: I am not saying having access to one's personal battle history in GAC would not be helpful. I would love to have access to my battle history in GAC to view my own past battles to get more information and learn. But i am not willing to sign up for a GG account to do it. Having access to my own history within SWGOH would be a great feature.I would be opposed to any feature that allows others having access to my battle history, other than the battles they have had with me.

The issue is that CG/EA allowed .gg access to this data. One of the unfair things about it is that players that don’t have a .gg account can look up players GAC history that do have accounts, yet can’t be looked up themselves.

Not a problem if you don't have a GG acount or if you actually don't care if someone can see your history. So it comes down to knowing what you are signing up for or not.

My personal rule of thumb is to not sign up for third party applications like GG.

Many guilds require .gg accounts, so useful for many things, including preparations for TB and TW.

.gg was and still is awesome and very useful, it’s just when EA and .gg teamed up and allowed this data to be pulled and displayed, they implemented it in an unfair way.
