OP failed to mention that he won the 2nd match he complained about (on April 23), and yes that opponent tried. OP went 2-1 in the bracket that prompted this thread.

Dude. What exactly is your complaint. You are clearly competitive with the matches you've been given. You just seem to not like that their GP is different than yours, regardless of the results.

When will these types of threads stop? As someone who's been on the forums for quite a while I know, the answer is probably never, but I'm still asking myself that question...

Yes, it's working as intended.

When will people finally understand that just because someone has a far superior roster, doesn't mean you can't beat them.
People that have seemingly overpowered rosters compared to others in their brackets are in those brackets FOR A REASON. Either they don't play or are bad at the game. If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't have dropped to these levels.

Strong people don't magically appear at your ranks to mess things up for you. They must have lost a good chunk of matches on their way there, and there's a good chance they will lose to you too. Just play your game and don't run to the forums the second you get an opponent that has a much better roster than you. If the matchup happened, then it's fair game.

Just remember: Even a Fiat can win a race against a Ferrari, if the Ferrari person doesn't know how to drive a car.

They will not stop as long as there isn't at least a little bit of balance. Everyone below Kyber is experiencing the same and it's just ridiculous and not fun. I think it's good that these posts exist. Because until recently CG wasn't even aware of this. They need to know how it is and that can only happen if enough people point it out to make it clear, that it is not just a rare thing.

I am also pretty sure that people understand very well how the System is supposed to work, but the reality is, it is only working in Kyber. And even there it is not working perfectly.

There are people who lose on purpose just to be in lower leagues or divisions, because they get all in all more crystals with less effort. They have already done the maths on how many matches they have to lose so they don't get promoted too much but can win enough to get a nice amount of guaranteed crystals without needing to fight hard.

Then you also have the inflation of people's SR because of no shows only for them to be then facing even bigger accounts because they got promoted/won.

Something needs to be done to balance it out at least a little.
