Unfortunately, the developers are ignoring this issue, but it’s long overdue to fix it. The matchmaking needs to be corrected.

    Do your research, kiddo. I made a post exactly like this about ten months ago before I realised it wasn't doing anything and this is better than the alternative. But I suppose you couldn't be bothered, which is exactly why people like you are whining about all of this.

    Says it all here. For further context, my current GAC opponent is 11.6 mil GP, 8 GLs, while I've got one GL and 8.3 mil GP.
    I just full cleared their whole territory. Admittedly I have GL killers - Bane, Malgus, Quadme - but that's an investment purely so I could do better in GAC. So it's not all about GLs or GP, it's about where you focus your priorities. Set high standards for mods, bump Relic levels, open up the bottom section first so you can see all their teams and plan the rest of your attack from there. Every round I'm stressed that I won't manage my teams well and end up choking, which has happened a few times, but the point I'm making stands.
    I think I've surpassed the point you're talking about, and there's not a lot you can do, sorry. But instead of asking for better matchmaking, dig yourself out of that hole. Invest, strategise. I've been playing for about three years, I think, so it's not like you need to be an OG player to get to this point.
