GAC no defence
Opponent only out 1 team in defence, which kills auto fill, I will the match but dont get the points/coins and feasts, but he gets by attacking my defence. Unfair isn’t it? How to correct this?

Of course they can. Morality and legality are separate things. You are responsible for your own actions, and can be blamed for doing things that are wrong, entirely independently of whether they are legal.
Okay so why is this wrong?
People have different moral standards, but generally doing something that hurts somebody else (and really doesn't even benefit you) with the primary goal of harming that other person would be considered immoral.
The idea that people are doing this out of concern of facing that person again is pretty silly. Unless you are at such a high GP that there are very few people to match you with, the likelihood of facing the same person again is pretty low. Letting that person have more rewards to get ahead of you actually makes it *less* likely that you will ever have to worry about facing him again, and in any event the difference is so marginal it is highly unlikely to allow you to win a matchup that you have, at this time, decided is so hopeless that you have effectively given up on any attempt to win.
In reality, the people doing this are doing it out of spite.
