I loathe 3v3. The game isn't balanced around it which makes it miserable to play, but i also appreciate many enjoy the novelty of it.

I'd rather see an option like system where you choose which GAC Tournament you want to enter: 5v5 or 3v3. So if you prefer one format over another, you're always happy. If you prefer a mix, you're still happy!

There is no pleasing everyone.

3v3 is entirely untested and unplayable in this game (with exception in this very only mode). There is no reason to have it tbh - with exception of 10% who actually like it for easy defensive gac wins. Some GLs are unbeatable entirely by other gl due to lack of teams and the only fun in 3v3 is to put a brick defense and lol at the person simply failing a GL counter. After that its over and you won.
So it caters a minority to have untested and unbalanced stuff - can be fun for some. But if you could choose 5v5 or 3v3 i would always click 5v5 - because those are teams actually and not a rng fest if 1 attack/ability block misses etc.

GAC would become to bland without 3v3. Maybe less frequent but I wouldn’t take it away

I like 3v3. It rewards strategy more than 5v5. The only sad thing for me is that I don’t get bonus banners for using only 3 characters in 3v3, since that counts as a full squad. Apart from that, I find both GAC formats great.

Well I guess I stand corrected, or at least bu people that have responded. I know everyone will hate this, but imagine if we had GAC where everyone was given the same toons(regardless of their roster) and provided exact same mods. People could truly see the best players as everyone would start on equal footing. No one could complain it’s unfair or bad matching making.

Haven’t lost a single match on GAC this season but I do hate 3v3.

I actually would like that idea if CG implemented it. Pure skill being a deciding factor. The only problem would be what toons, and at what level.

Create a roster that is competitive in gac takes skill.

About the ‘everyone gets the same thing’ idea, i would prefer a new game, like a sealed or draft system, that would allow this kind of things where rosters are not relevant.

3v3 was fun until the powers that be decided to be to be idiots and drop a nerf patch during gac… now we get to this round and my r7 Vader had a hard as hell time taking out poorly modded safari brothers because culling blade hits like a bloody wet noodle now…
