galactic challenge and episode mission

I think nearly everyone is in the same boat, from a practical standpoint, the 4x rewards probably make up for the 10k points missing from the quest being completed.

My guess is 4x rewards won't cover the missing 10K points from not completing the feat.  It will cover the lack of GC's over the rest of this Era.  We should have have 4 total (including the one that ended on Friday).  Since we got 4x reqards, that covers the last 3 of the era. 

The missing feat - that is typical CG not thinking about the side effects of decisions.

There are 5 feats per level, average 360 points each*

Typical GC then = 5 x 360 per level, 1,800 total.  X10 for each level, 18,000 total points out of a GC.

Last GC had an extra X4 multiplier, so 18,000x4 = 72,000 max.

Without the multiplier, you would get 18k + 18k = 36k.  Add the 4k bump on the feat would be 40k.  If you have to have that to get that section complete, 8k more = 48k. So, for the last 4-5 days, you're still way ahead. Unless you skipped out on the last one. 

Considering it appears that 4x wasn't gift, but a make up for them not putting up the final 3 GC's before the change - it could hurt the end of next week, though.

1. not everyone buys pass, and not everyone gets newest characters to 7 stars so for huge chunk of players it's 3x 350
2. it compensates only for GC we will now miss, 1 that should start today and 2 next week
3. next week there's also episode quest to complete 5 GC feats, so you are missing on 20k points

i think we are all caught between CG's new ideas and their failure to communicate when they fail. They are the proverbial dog that caught the car they were chasing...no what will they do? probably nothing.

so CG_Meathead​ can we have an answer please ?

I'm in the same boat, and sure it would be nice if they do address it, but it really isn't something I'm losing sleep over waiting for.

You will have gotten your answer when the episode ends. And you may or may not get those 10,000 episode points. Nothing in the grand scheme of things.

There is also more than a week left for them to address it, if they should choose to.

By my calculations, without these Episode Quest rewards, I won't be able to make it to the end of the episode track.  And I'm not going to buy the Episode Pass, because that would equate to paying CG for screwing us over.  So, I really hope they do something to compensate everyone for the episode points we're missing out on.
