Datacron level 6 relic requirements

Combined with the shorter cadence, DCs are feeling like more of a chore now

I would imagine it's due to the huge amount of LST that flooded the game that bumped a huge portion of the roster to r5. Considering what you save on mats for r1-5 bumping 1 relic level is pretty resonable.

Because they're giving out a ton of free R5s so the required material investment is extremely low

Datacron lvl 6 asks for R4, not R6 btw.....

And you can get the lvl9 datacron bonus if the character that has that bonus is R6 and rest of the team isn't. For example: You can have a R6 Hera and the other Phoenix characters at R4 and you gonna have both the lvl6 and lvl9 datacron bonus, you just gonna miss out on the lvl7 and lvl8 stat bonuses.

If you want all the stats then yeah, you need a full R6 team.

What you really have to do is focus on the era battles to gain the currency to get a R5 character

Agree. On the plus side our opponents don't have as many.

The biggest downside is its much harder to get the ones we want.

I'm still farming a fair few but always stop at Level 5 because I don't have a lot of teams with full R6+

The factions, Rebels (only one viable team in CLS) and Inquisitorius (which I don't have at higher Relics) aren't giving me much incentive to farm higher because there's not a lot of teams they can apply to in my roster, so I'm happy at Level 5. Even the level 1 at +25% TM would be huge for a ton of my teams, I'm not all that fussed.

Even the next few DCs probably won't incentivise me to bump up the relics just for DC use, even if it's for factions I love like the Imperial Remnants.
