Galactic Challenge

There are 4 of them on the free reward track, and you can buy 3 a week from Episode shipments. 

So, over the course of a 4 week episode you have access to 12 from the store and 4 more from the reward track making 16 in total. 

Guess the maximum number of omicrons you could earn in a 4 week period from the old Galactic Challenge system? 

Also, a future update will add a third omicron slot in the Episode shipments store, so you will soon have access to more than you used to get.
