You're not alone in complaining but the complaints aren't new either. People have been saying the same thing every day for as long as I've frequented these forums. And every time there's a meta shift there's also a cry of "this time it's different!"

With all respect Ranger, I'm not looking for a solution of 'grind this toon'. Doing well at Galactic Wars (to my mind at least) shouldn't require having a specific toon or toons, it should be a challenge based on what you have.
I have tried raising bug reports and looking on the 'answers' board. This is trying to see if my experience is truly subjective and I'm one of very few people or if it's as widespread as I think it is from the other players I know personally.
I'm not trying to be a smart ... I had the same problem as you, but since I got zFinn and I started preloading TM I'm able to get all 12 nodes. Only having trouble with zQGJ because of the foresight.
Whereas my Zeta'd Sith under Nihilus or Maul chew through them, G12 or not unless they have GK
That's exactly the idea. You aren't supposed to do all of GW with one team (even though you often can). You're supposed to have a deep roster that includes the counter to every team you might face.
So, to stand a fair shake at completing any GW you need to have every possible team at g12 level 85 and 7* even all the legendaries? That totally sounds sensible...
Every possible team? No, since not every team is the best counter to another team. You can do it with just one team, and that team doesn't even need to be g12. If you want an even easier time, then you also farm the counter to the teams that your team of choice has a harder time with (like your example of using Sith against zQGJ teams rather than Resistance).
What doesn't get you anywhere is having a bunch of characters or teams that can't effectively beat what you see in GW, and then complaining that GW is broken because your preferred characters don't happen to be the magic win button.
