No, Im not complaining, Im just exposing facts which should ashame the ones who designed this mechanism. Its on purpose and the reason is very simple...to force you to spend money on their pixels. The truth is that 1 year ago, I never encountered opponents higher than 10-12 levels and it was quite rare, Id say 2 times a week...maybe. But now its a nightmare. Maybe business is going bad for EA...

Again a very easy opponent which mister @jpplayer or something like that could easily destroy. No big deal for him, just a lvl 75 modded team. Because hes a very valuable player who knows that mods appear only at lvl 50 and hes batman.

And btw, feel free not to respond to this thread, its a forum and everybody is free to post opinions based on facts. Facts may be rude sometimes, yes.
So whats the point of GW at this point, when youre a small player ? No point.

Yeah, a Bastila-led Jedi team is one of the two that can finish GW unless they hit an impossible brick wall, the other being Phoenix. However, as soon as several of your Jedi are in your top 5 characters, expect to see aforementioned brick walls on a regular basis and often on early nodes.

I've run into this phenomenon on two accounts now. It's smooth sailing through GW with Bastila until you beef up Ezra and Kanan for your Phoenix team and your Consular as a fleet asset, and suddenly you're facing GW opponents 20 levels above your own on node 5. Kick the three off your GW team, replace them with less developed Jedi, run this underpowered team two days in a row, and from then on it's smooth sailing again. It's a delicate balance, and it makes absolutely no sense to me that GW punishes people for developing their characters and spending money on the game.

Before the issue that arose almost 2 months ago, The match ups were working perfectly. Node 1 was around 60% of your top 5. Node 12 was around 115% your top 5. Synergy and zetas/abilities did not count. That was why you could still hit tough teams, but it was luck of the draw and usually toward the end. If you look at the numbers, they were still pretty close to where the match up was supposed to be. GW algorithm doesn't care what the synergy or the Overpoweredness of the character kit looks like. It just pulls numbers. Back late September/early October something happened where it CAN(not always - I have recently gone straight thru GWs with no screw ups, but have also seen them on node 1) pull numbers that it shouldn't be pulling for the account in question. That is where you are seeing level 50s matched with level 70 squads two to three times their GP.

At low level the best team is phoenix... farm them buddy...

And I will definitely not buy anything else in this or my main account unless this is fixed. Always Skip Packs, bundles if you must. Don’t be a gambler, odds are always for the House.

Ok. Im currently level 47. What is your opinion of this guy ? I had an old account, made a long break and now made a new one. Just to see nothing changed in almost 1 and a half year. Its much much worse in fact. The third day in a row trying to get some rewards. Its impossible.
And btw, for the EA fanboys trying to explain scientifically what the GW is all about, please have the decency and shut up.

Fine, nobody will bother to explain how it works. What I can tell you is that nobody cares, you can add on your complaint to the 200+ pages of GW complaints and it ain't changing. Good luck and have fun!

Fact: GW scales to your roster
Fact: Spending to improve your roster increases your GW difficulty
Thus only fools will think spending money will decrease GW difficulty, why would anyone even remotely think this is a cash grab???
