Sounds like after the event an Aurodium type pack becomes available for purchase that gives 5-30 shards of either character.
hmm yeah, re-reading it, that's what it might mean. I just hope that the path to 7* isn't having to spend 1200 crystal per pack to get 5 shards of each character...
I wouldn't be surprised, at least since they are brand new. It will probably be more like 600 crystals per pack.. just guessing based on the fleet pack.
