Well, he speaks for me.
The true spoiler alert is that the meta in this game has never been about options. And that is unlikely to change by releasing a set of 5 Toons with great synergy.
1. New toons so close together gives you 'options' in GW only. It CHANGES the arena meta, making other teams obsolete to those of us at the top.
2. If there comes a time when the top 5 teams in a shard are different themes then great! But releasing increasingly OP toons back to back to back does NOT support that goal. It once again changes what's good, rather than offering different options.
3. Options are great if you wanna hang out at 20th. But when is that the goal?
For me as well. Baze / Chirrut / Entire Fleet of Ships / Jyn / Cassian / K2SO / Krennic / Death Trooper / Nihilus / Sith Trooper / Sith Assassin / Chooper / Hera / Kanan / Ezra / Sabine / Zeb / !?#½{+&()??
(Shoretrooper etc too inside there, not to mention huge power ups and changes to existing characters as well)
There are so many precious meta materials up there, which might be very well lost without even having the chance to shine. Shame.
25% of my Guild haven't even seen a Jyn to start with and 10 other Characters got released afterwards (and 3 more on their way in a few weeks). All with amazing but also confusing / very complicated synergies. (While I loved Hera's Leader ability, it will take hell a lot of time to get used to all those Unique effects if they hit the meta)
