Game won't stay open in background, reloads every time I go back to home screen

Game won't stay open in background, reloads every time I go back to home screen. Never used to do this, but in the last few weeks it will no longer stay running. It used to run all day and never need to reload the game.

I'm playing on Galaxy fold 3, its got plenty of RAM to keep it going, and no other apps need to reload after being minimized so its an issue specific to SWGOH. It's got no memory or battery limits put on it by the phone.

Anyone else having this happen?

lucky for you because if i dare to switch apps decent chance it restarts when i come back

This is my experience every day with this game now
